Camp Site near Montgomery and Welshpool.

Open all year round, electric hook up available if required.

There are 10 camping pitches available with electric hookup and water if required, however we can still cater for larger parties if needed. 

Arrival after 1pm and departure uptill 12 Midday.

Although camping on the site can feel like a world away from urban life, there is easy roadside access to the camping site all year round, and facilities available on site enable guests to enjoy the comforts of modern life alongside the rustic pleasure of outdoor camping.

Campers are able to use two modern, purpose-built facilities blocks, which are centrally heated all year round and include ladies’ and gents’ washrooms with basins, 7 indicual wet rooms, WC, free use of hairdryers, showers, hot water and shaving points.

Well behaved dogs are welcome and new for 2019 is a full heated doggy wet room. For more information please visit oue facilities page.

The camping site is the ideal base from which to enjoy outdoor pursuits in the glorious Welsh countryside, such as walking, riding or cycling, as well as exploring the nearby areas of Welshpool, Montgomery and Mid Wales.

Rhyd-y-groes' woodland is habitat to a variety of birds and butterfulies. so the site is an ideal locarion for wildlife enhusiats and birdwatchers. New for 2019 is a beautiful woodland walk exclusive to the park and its guests. Form more inforation please see our facilities page.

The site is exclusively for adult guests (over 25) in order to provide a peaceful, tranquil, setting for those seeing a retreat from busy urban living.
